Campbellford Memorial Hospital Unveils New Strategic Plan and Branding

In Local

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) launched its bold new Strategic Plan, setting the course for transformative healthcare in the region through 2030 and beyond. This forward-looking plan is designed to meet the evolving needs of patients, staff, and the broader community, positioning CMH as a leader in rural healthcare innovation.

Developed through extensive engagement with staff, physicians, community partners, and healthcare leaders, the plan reflects a shared commitment to advancing local care and building a brighter, healthier future.

Grounded in CMH’s core values and guided by a clear and ambitious vision, the plan outlines four key strategic directions:

1. Modernizing service delivery to continuously improve outcomes.

2. Advancing our workplace through inclusivity, connection, wellbeing, and growth.

3. Pushing the boundaries of rural care.

4. Building for tomorrow.

As CMH looks to the future, this plan is about more than bricks and mortar. While building a new hospital as part of an integrated Campus of Care remains a vital component, this strategy is focused on people, progress, and possibility.

It aims to enhance quality of care, foster a dynamic and inclusive work environment, and strengthen the hospital’s ability to deliver services that meet the unique needs of rural communities. With this bold new vision, CMH is reimagining what rural healthcare can be, and charting a path toward meaningful, measurable, and lasting impacts for the communities they serve.

As part of this forward-thinking approach, Campbellford Memorial Hospital also unveiled a new logo and brand promise that reflects their enduring commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Rooted in the agricultural beauty of the region, the logo design honours the deep connection to the people and places CMH serves, while looking confidently toward the future.

The refreshed visual identity features a rising sun over rolling green hills, symbolizing a new day in healthcare delivery for the region, renewed hope towards the new hospital, and advancements in local healthcare.

At the heart of the updated branding is a simple, powerful promise: Our Best. Every Day.

This phrase captures what patients, families, and community members can expect from their local hospital, compassionate, skilled care, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in every interaction.

“We’re very excited to launch our new strategic plan and branding,” shared Jeff Hohenkerk, President and CEO of Campbellford Memorial Hospital. “It’s a symbol of progress and possibility, Our Best. Every Day., isn’t just a tagline, it’s our commitment to each other, our patients, and our community.

Our new strategic plan and updated branding reflects not just where we are today, but where we’re going, toward a stronger, more connected, and more innovative future in rural healthcare”
