Town Of Cobourg Responds to Nearly 20 Calls for Service Regarding Encampments in May

During the month of May, the Town of Cobourg received 17 calls for service regarding encampments on town/private property.
As per the Town of Cobourg Encampment Response Strategy and Parks and Nuisance By-laws, Municipal Law Enforcement Services responded to the calls received, engaging with service providers to provide individuals with information about available community resources and shelter services at 310 Division Street and to enforce relevant by-law provisions.
