Peterborough Police – Robbery Arrest (No Name Released)

An 18-year-old Peterborough male is facing multiple charges after an incident Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 1:15pm on May 14, 2025, officers were called to a business in the Brock Street and Aylmer Street area about a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, officers learned that a Loss Prevention Officer and the store owner had been injured after a confrontation with a male.   Both victims were taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.   Officers searched the area and located a male matching the description given to police a few blocks away. He was taken into custody.  Officers with the Emergency Response Team and K9 Gryphon conducted an article search. A knife was located and seized along with some other items.

As a result of the investigation, an 18-year-old Peterborough male was arrested and charged with:

  • Robbery with violence X2
  • Failure to comply with youth sentence order X2

The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court tomorrow, May 15, 2025.
