Beautiful Day But Spring Isn’t Here Yet

Don’t let the beautiful weather fool you – Spring isn’t here yet.

It was a gorgeous day in the Cobourg area on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

The sun was shining throughout the day and the warm weather was welcomed from the days of winter just a few short weeks ago.

Some people were even wearing shorts.

Even if Spring hasn’t arrived yet, with the blanket of snow now gone, both the good and bad remnants of winter are now visible.

Seagulls chip away at a pail on Victoria beach looking for any particles of food left over, a needle carelessly disposed in Victoria Park.

The sun glistens off the waves breaking along the beach while the sand makes its own artwork.

A security camera and pair of shoes hanging over a wire along King Street east are silhouetted by the sun with the clock tower of Victoria Hall in the background.

And peacefully the sun sets for another day behind trees to the west.
