A 37-year-old Millbrook man is facing multiple weapons and drug charges after police conducted a traffic stop early Saturday morning.
On Saturday, January 4, 2025, at approximately 2:10 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on D’Arcy Street in the Town of Cobourg.
As a result of police investigation, the driver, a 39-year-old female from Millbrook, was charged with fail to produce a licence, fail to surrender permit, and failure to surrender your insurance card.
The passenger was arrested on two outstanding warrants with another police service. During the arrest,
police located a quantity of drugs, weapons and stolen property. As a result, Ryan Webb (37) of Millbrook, was charged with the following offences:
• Possession of a Prohibited Device
• Possession of a Prohibited Device for Dangerous Purpose
• Carry Concealed Prohibited Device
• Two counts of Possession of Prohibited Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order
• Three counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Crack Cocaine/MDMA/Dilaudid
• Possession of Ammunition
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Possession of Illicit Cannabis
• Possession of a Schedule I Substance – to wit Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule III Substance – to wit LSD for the Purpose of Trafficking
The accused was held for bail.
