Today’s Northumberland asked for a breaking down of how the Provincial funding totaling $2,469,500 has been allocated for 310 Division Street to date.
Communications Director for Northumberland County, Kate Campbell said, the initial focus has been code and renovation-related work to open the shelter as quickly as possible. A remaining budget of $1,129,500 will be allocated based on prioritization of identified needs, including replacing the heating and cooling systems.
