City of Belleville – Automated Speed Enforcement Cameras Set to Move

In Local

The City of Belleville’s Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) cameras will be moved to new locations beginning the week of Jan. 6 to 10. Signage has been posted at the four new locations to notify drivers of the upcoming change.

The cameras will be installed in the following Community Safety Zones:

· Ashley Street (from Ducette Road to Old Madoc Road)

· Dundas Street East (from George Street to First Street)

· Palmer Road (from Bridge Street West to Dundas Street West)

· Sidney Street (from Moira Street West to Bridge Street West)

The implementation of ASE aligns with Belleville’s commitment to prioritizing road safety and promoting responsible driving behaviors. It reinforces the City’s dedication to fostering a secure and livable community for all its residents.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the upcoming ASE signage and comply with speed limits to ensure the effectiveness of the program in enhancing road safety.

For more information about the initiative, please contact Transportation and Operations at 613-967-3275 or opgeneral@belleville.ca.
