Lower Trent Conservation Launches 2025 Native Plant Sale

In Upcoming Events

Lower Trent Conservation (LTC) is thrilled to announce the opening of its highly anticipated 2025
Native Plant Sale on Monday, December 2, 2025. This annual initiative supports biodiversity,
promotes the use of native species in landscaping, and helps protect local ecosystems while raising
funds for conservation efforts.

The program offers a selection of native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers suited to a variety of soil
types, sunlight conditions, and landscapes. These plants not only enhance the beauty of gardens and
properties but also provide critical habitat for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.

“Native plants are a vital part of our ecosystem and planting them helps to create resilient
landscapes that benefit both people and nature,” says Massimo Narini, Watershed Services
Specialist. “We’re excited to offer residents a way to contribute to local conservation efforts while
greening their spaces.”
