Logan Found Alive and Safe by Members of OPP Emergency Response Team

The Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has safely located the missing 18-year-old in Havelock.

On October 15, 2024, the Peterborough County OPP received a report that the 18-year-old was last seen in the Havelock area on October 13, 2024.

As a result of the ongoing search efforts, on October 30, 2024, at approximately 8:45 a.m., the missing person was located safe by officers in an aba ndoned building that had been searched regularly, as it was identified as one of his regular hideouts.

The individual has been transported to the hospital as a precaution.

Residents in the area will continue to see police presence until the afternoon. The OPP Central Region Crime Unit is continuing the investigation with assistance from members of the Peterborough County OPP, OPP Canine Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team, and OPP Aviation Services.

The OPP would like to thank everyone who shared information and assisted in locating the missing person safe. The OPP values its relationships with its communities and will continue to serve the province by protecting its citizens, upholding the law and preserving public safety.
