Video – Cobourg Police – Driver Charged with Impaired Following Collision

A driver was charged with impaired driving after a single vehicle collision in Cobourg on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. Cobourg Police responded to the area of William Street, just south of Elgin Street for reports of a collision.

It appears a vehicle was exiting onto William Street, when it left the road, drove over a sidewalk and hit a fence.

After police conducted an investigation with the driver, she was arrested and later charged with impaired driving.

There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

No name was released.
