Video – Third Annual Show and Shine for Spencer Devine in Port Hope

In Local

The Third Annual Show & Shine for Spencer Devine Car Show took place at the Port Hope Fair Grounds on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

Spencer Devine passed away on September 15, 2021 at 34-year-old and his family has been having the memorial car show in his honour each year with all proceeds go in support of mental health awareness locally.

Devine’s mother, Liz Jeffries stated the system failed her son time and time again when he reached out for help.

Spencer’s passion were cars, storm chasing and photography and from that, the annual Show & Shine for Spencer Devine was started.

Jeffries said the goal of the Show and Shine is to create awareness in the community, where there are supports, what the supports are and how to find them.
