Durham Regional Police – Three People Injured in Overnight Shooting in Bowmanville

Two males and one female are recovering after being shot overnight in Bowmanville.

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of East Division responded to a report of someone being shot in the area of Concession St E and Mearns Ave in Bowmanville.

Officers arrived on scene and located a 25-year-old male, a 25-year-old female and a 22-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Two victims were transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre and the third was transported to a local area hospital. All injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.

Members of the Criminal Investigations Unit as well as the Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene and maintain carriage of the investigation.
