Belleville Police Service Polar Plunge Raises Funds for Special Olympics

In Local

The Belleville Police Service extends heartfelt thanks to the community, volunteers, and fellow emergency services for support in making Friday afternoon’s Polar Plunge fundraiser a resounding success.

The Polar Plunge brought together individuals who took the plunge into icy waters of the Bay of Quinte at the Herchimer boat launch to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics.

With the community’s help, $25,000 was raised in support of Special Olympics.

Belleville Police wish to say, “thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this fundraiser.”

“Together, we have made a meaningful impact on the lives of Special Olympics athletes.”
