Anglers Come Prepared for the Weather in Port Hope

In Local, Weather

A number of anglers were out on the break wall/pier at Port Hope on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Five anglers were on the west break wall and one ventured out on the east break wall.

The angler on the east break wall as well as others on the west were wearing footwear they said gripped the rocks and ice.

“When the weather changes and it goes from a wet rock to a glare rock (ice) you need something that’s going to hold it.”
