Northumberland OPP – Cramahe Township Man Facing Two Charges of Mischief (Name Released)

(MUNICIPALITY OF TRENT HILLS, ON) – Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a person with mischief at a local hotel in Campbellford.

On February 3, 2024 at approximately 12:20 a.m., officers responded to a report regarding a disturbance at the property and following arrival, located the subject of the complaint.

Richard BRUCE, 53-years-old, from the Township of Cramahe, has been charged with:

  • Mischief – destroys or damages property

Upon arrest, the accused was transported to an OPP detachment. During the time where the accused was in custody, the individual was additionally charged with:

  • Mischief – destroys, interrupts or interferes with the lawful use or operation of property – two counts

The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
