Two Collisions Keep Emergency Services Busy on Saturday in Northumberland County

Emergency services responded to two collisions on Saturday, December 23, 2023.

At approximately 2:50 p.m. emergency services responded just east of County Road 28 on Oak Ridges Drive (County Road 9) in Hamilton Township for a two vehicle collision.

Both vehicles were heavily damaged, but there were no serious injuries to either driver.

Oak Ridges Drive in the area was closed for approximately one hour.

The second collision occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. in Hamilton Township.

A vehicle was heading eastbound on Highway 401 when it exited the highway at County Road 45.

Just before County Road 45 the vehicle rolled onto its roof coming to rest in a ditch.

Emergency services attended the scene and again the driver suffered minor injuries.
