Video – Two Vehicle Collision Shuts Down County Road 2 in Hamilton Township

There were no serious injuries after a collision on County Road 2 east of Cobourg on Friday, December 8, 2023.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. two vehicles were traveling westbound when one vehicle pulled to the shoulder of the highway.

The second vehicle rear-ended the first vehicle heavily and came to a stop a short distance down the road.

Hamilton Township Fire Department, Cobourg Fire Department Northumberland County Paramedics and Northumberland OPP attended the scene.

County Road 2 just east of Workman Road in Hamilton Township was closed for approximately an hour while the scene was investigated and debris cleared.
