Cobourg Police are continuing to investigate an incident that occurred at Walmart on Strathy Road on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
Police were dispatched to Walmart for suspicious persons and report of a theft.
A stolen vehicle and a police vehicle collided. It appears the police vehicle pinned the stolen vehicle against a wall of the north end of Walmart.
Three people were arrested at the scene when police broke the windows of the stolen car.
Stolen property was found inside the stolen car that was not from Walmart. The investigation is continuing and police will provide a further update.
Two adult males and one adult female are facing numerous charges including, but not limited to theft.
All persons are being held for a bail hearing on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
