Northumberland OPP – Stolen Vehicle Recovered (Name Released)

Members of The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual following a report of a stolen vehicle.

On Monday, October 16, 2023, shortly before 8:45 a.m., a pick-up truck had been reported stolen from an address in Augusta Township, Ontario. At approximately 10:13 a.m., OPP were dispatched to a location in the Municipality of Port Hope as a result of information provided by a vehicle tracking service.

Randy William RAE (age 44) of Kitchener, Ontario, has been arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Possession of a credit card – three counts

The accused was held in custody to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
