VIDEO – Update – Two Cobourg Residents Facing Criminal Charges That Involved Shovel

Two Cobourg residents are facing charges after Police responded to a disturbance in the downtown core Monday evening.

On Monday, October 2nd , 2023, at 5:23 p.m., members of the Cobourg Police Service responded to a disturbance (fight) outside of a downtown business between two males, involving a shovel.

Both males sustained minor injuries.

As a result of the Police investigation, a 22-year-old male and a 28-year-old male, were arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.

Both were released from custody on an undertaking with a court date scheduled for November 1st, 2023.
