Conservation Officers Kept Busy Over the Weekend in Cobourg and Port Hope

Conservation Officers with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry were out on Sunday, September 17, 2023 keeping an eye out as anglers.

Officers were patrolling areas such as the Ganaraska River and Cobourg Creek.

Officers found anglers who had no license, were trespassing and fishing in a sanctuary.

It’s always advisable to check regulations before arriving at your destination to fish.
