Cobourg Police – Man Arrested on Warrant, Uttering Threats, Assault and Forcible Confinement (No Name Released)

A 38-year-old Cobourg man faces charges after police investigate a report of assault.

The Cobourg Police Service commenced an investigation into a report of an assault and uttering threats. As a result, a warrant in the first was issued for the arrest of the suspect.

On Sunday, August 27, 2023, police arrested a 38-year-old Cobourg resident and charged him with uttering threats, assault, forcible confinement and failing to attend court.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a court date scheduled for September 27, 2023.
