Spicing Downtown Cobourg Up With a Fashion Show

In Community

A Spring/Summer Fashion Show was held Wednesday with the help of many businesses along King Street in Cobourg.

Tina Christopher who owns Viva Le Glitz Style Boutique (83 King Street West) and VLG & Co. Secret Closet (87 King Street West) along with Stacie Dickerson held the fashion show just west of Third Street.

Christopher said the event was to show how women can dress affordability with mixing new and consignment wear.

The models dressed at both stores then walked a few stores down to Change Makers Refillery where a number of women were seated while Christopher and Dickerson described what they were wearing.

“We wanted to bring something different to the Town of Cobourg and downtown so we thought we’d try this outside, provide a little bit of entertainment and have some fun,” said Dickerson.

The shoes the models were wearing were from Chesler’s Shoes in downtown Cobourg.
