Cobourg Police – Superbowl RIDE Results

In News

Cobourg Police Service (CPS) continues to engage with the community and provide education and enforcement focused on impaired driving.

Over the Superbowl weekend, CPS conducted RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) checks at various locations across the Town of Cobourg. Of the 863 vehicles checked, no charges were laid, and 14 Highway Traffic Act cautions were issued.

We thank everyone who commits to driving sober or plans for a safe ride home. If you know or suspect a driver is impaired by alcohol or drugs, call 9-1-1. In doing so, you may save a life.
