Northumberland OPP – Six Stolen Vehicles Recovered in Port Hope

A search warrant executed in the Municipality of Port Hope has resulted in the recovery of a cache of stolen vehicles.

On November 25, 2022, members of the Peterborough Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit, and Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), executed a search warrant at a rural location in the Municipality of Port Hope, in regards to an investigation surrounding stolen motor vehicles.

As a result, police recovered six vehicles that had been stolen throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

The total value of the vehicles is estimated to be around $500,000 dollars.

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would encourage anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
