Transports Collide East of Cobourg on Highway 401

There were no injuries after two transports collided on Highway 401 east of Cobourg on Friday, November 11, 2022.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. police were notified of two transported that collided in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 approximately four kilometres east of Cobourg.

It appears one transport side-swiped the other that other, ripping open the trailer.

Debris littered the highway, but both transports managed to safely pull off to the shoulder of the road.

There were no injuries.
