Three suspects were arrested in three stolen vehicle incidents in Durham Region. All three vehicles involved were Dodge Ram trucks.
On Thursday, October 20, 2022, at approximately 12:00 p.m. members of East Division were dispatched to the area of Hwy 407 and Enfield Road, Clarington after receiving reports that a 2021 Dodge Ram truck that was stolen earlier in the day from Toronto was in the vicinity. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and safely have the vehicle come to a stop. The male driver was taken into custody and the truck was returned to the owner.
Alehandro Nicolas BOUCHER, age 19, of Quebec, is charged with: Theft of Motor Vehicle; Possession of an Automobile Master Key and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was released on an Undertaking
On Thursday, October 20, 2022, at approximately 2:30 a.m. members of Central East Division were dispatched to the area of Stevenson Road South and Phillip Murray Avenue, Oshawa regarding a 2022 Dodge Ram truck that was stolen out of a driveway. Officers were able to locate the vehicle a short distance away and safely have the vehicle come to a stop. The male driver was taken into custody and the truck was returned to the owner.
Hachem ELFILALE, age 21, of Quebec, is charged with: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of an Automobile Master Key. He was released on an Undertaking.
On Thursday, October 20, 2022, at approximately 5:00 a.m. members of East Division were dispatched to the area of Longworth Avenue and Liberty Street North, Clarington regarding a 2021 Dodge Ram truck that was stolen out of a driveway. Officers were able to locate the vehicle a short distance away and safely have the vehicle come to a stop. The male driver was taken into custody and the truck was returned to the owner.
Romenskee COLAS, age 20, of Quebec, is charged with: Theft of Motor Vehicle and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was released on an Undertaking
