available for public viewing in Victoria Park.

Book of Condolences
A book of condolences is in the lobby of Victoria Hall (55 King Street West) for all who would like to sign. The book will be forwarded to the Palace the week of October 3rd.

Jubilee Park Monument
In Cobourg’s Jubilee Park, located on the southwest corner of William Street and Elgin Street, a monument is dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A new etching was added earlier this year to celebrate the Queen’s 70 years of service.

Cobourg Conversation Area Cairn
During their Royal visit in 1973, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh planted two Silver Maple trees at the Cobourg Conservation Area (James Cockburn Park, 700 William Street) and unveiled a Cairn, officially marking the opening of the park. Unfortunately, due to the Ice Storm in 2013, one of the Silver Maples was lost, however, the other can still be seen, adjacent to the Cairn in the park.
