Motorcycle Driver Loses Control on Fresh Gravel in Alnwick/Haldimand Township

The driver of a motorcycle was sent to hospital following a collision in Alnwick/Haldimand Township on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

At approximately 4:50 p.m. emergency services were dispatched to the area of Orchard Grove Road east of Station Road for a motorcycle collision.

A motorcycle was travelling westbound on Orchard Grove Road when it apparently lost control on fresh gravel.

Witnesses and people living in nearby homes came to the aid of the driver before emergency services had arrived.

The driver was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
