Walk for Lupus Takes Place in Cobourg This Weekend

The annual Walk for Lupus is the single largest fundraising event that enables Lupus Ontario to continue to support both the lupus patient and physician communities and it’s taking place in Cobourg on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 10 a.m. at James Tracey Park.

Although this is the 22nd annual walk, it’s the first time it’s been held in Cobourg.

Lupus Ontario is a not-for-profit charitable organization providing support, awareness and education of lupus to patients, caregivers, and health practitioners alike throughout all of Ontario, with 6 dedicated lupus clinics in the Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa.

From James Tracey Park the participants (biking or running) to Victoria Park. People who want to participate are encouraged to register but can also simply show-up on the day. If people want to donate, there are also prizes to be won.
