The Concert Band of Cobourg Back Home in Victoria Park Once Again for the Season

The Concert Band of Cobourg kicked off their Concerts in  the Park on Tuesday.

Every Tuesday throughout the summer the Concert Band of Cobourg will be performing at the Victoria Park Bandshell starting at 7:30 p.m.

Director of Music, Paul Storms said just prior to the start of the evening, “this is going to be an awesome night. It’s been two years in the waiting.”

The band has done a few concerts over the course of the past two years, but performing in Victoria Park is what they’ve been looking forward too.

Weather permitting, the band will be performing each Tuesday evening.

It was obvious the audience missed the band as well, but it only took a few notes, before the smiles were visible on the faces.

Storms said they will also be playing the Ukrainian national anthem along with the Canadian national anthem at the end of the evening.
