Durham Regional Police – Three in Hospital After Overnight Shooting in Newtonville

Police are investigating after two people were shot and another was stabbed.

 

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, at approximately 1:45 a.m., members from East Division were dispatched to an armed person call in the area of Newtonville Road and Concession Road 4.  Officers arrived on scene and located two males suffering from gunshot wounds.  A third male was grazed by a bullet.  The two males were taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries. 

 

While officers were on scene investigating a fourth male attended a local hospital suffering from stab wounds.   He has since been transported to a Toronto trauma centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

 

There is no suspect description available at this time.  Police are looking for any witnesses or anyone with cellphone video to come forward.
