Cobourg Scottish Festival & Highland Games Kicks Off in Victoria Park

The 58th Cobourg Scottish Festival & Highland Games kicked off on Friday, June 18, 2022 in Victoria Park.

A tattoo featuring The Concert Band of Cobourg, Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums, The Highland Creek Pipe Band, Durham Regional Police Pipes and Drums, RCAF 8 Wing Pipes and Drums, The Donegal Fiddlers, Breck School of Highland Dance along with Lindsay Rose Highland Dance Company particopated to the appreciative crowd of hundreds.

Nearby the Stones of Strength competition took place with competitors lighting stones weighing hundreds of pounds in various events.

Saturday, the band competition kicks off along with the heavy events and dancing just to name a few of the events takes place throughout the day.
