Dumptruck Collides With Vehicle in Hamilton Township

A woman was transferred to a Toronto trauma centre following a two-vehicle collision in Hamilton Township on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

At approximately 1 p.m. emergency services were dispatched to the area of Dale Road just west of Theatre Road after a dump truck collided with a vehicle.

Both vehicles were travelling westbound on Dale Road. The vehicle had stopped to turn left into Dalewood Golf Course when the dump truck slammed into the rear of the vehicle throwing the vehicle into the ditch where it landed upside down.

The dumptruck stopped several hundred metres ahead of the collision.

The lone occupant of the vehicle was transported to Northumberland Hills Hospital and later sent to a Toronto trauma centre.

Dale Road in the area remains closed while OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators examine the scene.
