Update – Northumberland OPP – Youth Charged After Robbery in Colborne

On March 17, 2022, members of the Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment responded to a call for a robbery that had occurred on King Street in the Village of Colborne.

Police have identified and arrested the suspect and charges have been laid.

The accused is a young person and their identity is being withheld according to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The accused faces the following charges:

· Robbery with intent CC 344(1)(b)

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in relation to the charge.
