Port Hope Panthers Take 3-1 Lead Against Rebels

The Port Hope Panthers are one win away from moving on in the Provincial Junior Hockey League playoffs.

Hosting the Campbellford Rebels for Game 4 on Saturday evening, the Panthers scored three times unanswered in both the first and second periods en route to a 7-1 victory and 3-1 series lead.
Logan Kelly scored twice and Nolan Stevenson, Carter Clarke, Drew Clapperton, Ethan Shore and Jack Papageorgiou added single tallies as the Panthers built a 7-0 advantage before the midway mark of the third period.
Benny Scarr had the lone goal for Campbellford.
It was the first game of the series to not require overtime.
Game 5 is scheduled for Monday night in Port Hope with a 7:50 p.m. start time at the Jack Burger Sports Complex.
