End of the Season for Northumberland Stars

The Greater Metro Hockey League season came to an end for the Northumberland Stars on Friday night in Colborne.
Northumberland was defeated 6-2 at the Keeler Centre by the St. George Ravens, which clinched the best-of-three series victory in the opening round of the GMHL playoffs.
Daniel Bazarin, who is from Rosneath, and Eric Kofman scored for the Stars as the game was tied 2-2 coming out of the first period before St. George pulled away in the middle frame with three unanswered goals.
St. George won the first game 6-3 at home on Wednesday.
The Stars completed the 2021-22 regular season with a 15-21-0-2 record.
