Quinte West OPP – Arrest Made in Robbery Investigation

On Monday November 29, 2021, shortly after 7:00 a.m. officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a robbery that occurred on Trillium Road in the City of Quinte West. The victim was a passenger in the suspect’s motor vehicle at the time of the alleged robbery. The suspect allegedly took all of the victim’s personal belongings and then fo rced the victim out of the vehicle. The victim was not injured and the suspect fled the scene in their vehicle.

The investigation was assisted by the Quinte West OPP Crime Unit. On Sunday March 6, 2022, Quinte West OPP made an arrest at a residence in Belleville.

Mustafa ASLAMI, 25 years old from Belleville, has been charged with:

  • Robbery with Violence
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused was held for a bail hearing scheduled on March 7, 2022, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
