Ganaraska Chordsmen Welcome New Chorus Director

In Community, entertainment, Local

Northumberland’s Premier Acapella Chorus has taken the next step towards performance excellence with the signing of award winning director Rick Heath to lead the Chordsmen.

Rick’s singing and directing experience in the Barbershop Harmony Society along with his dedication and passion for good singing, are wonderful attributes to encourage the best ‘4-part harmony’ sound from the Chordsmen.

Heath said, “I have always enjoyed the fellowship and harmony of Barbershop. When the chorus reached out with the need for a director I was able to take some time to explore the opportunity. It was a win-win for us both. I’m looking forward to helping the chorus develop their quality of singing”

Rehearsals are Tuesday nights 7-9:30pm at St. John’s Parish Hall 33 Pine St. North, Port Hope
