Cramahe Library Goes Curbside

In Local

By Cecilia Nasmith/Today’s Northumberland
The Cramahe Township Public Library has announced a return to curbside services only at both Colborne and Castleton branches, effective Jan. 6, during the current provincial COVID-19 restrictions.

The announcement included details of how library services will be administered under this new operational model.

There is no change to hours of operation – it will simply be curbside hours as opposed to open-door hours. You can find details at www.cramahelibrary.ca and the Facebook/Instragram sites for details.

Access to the library for QR codes for proof of vaccine will continue to be available during these curbside hours. Patrons can enter the library with their provincial health cards to access QR codes through the computers.

Access to computers will continue to be available through half-hour appointments. If more time is needed, talk to the librarian on duty. Please note – proof of vaccine will be required for computer use.

Printing, photocopying, scanning and faxing are still available under the curbside model. E-mail your documents to info@cramahelibrary.ca and call the library at 905-355-3722.

If you are unsure what books or DVDs you would like to check out, contact the branch by phone or check the virtual catalogue at https://cramahe.insigniails.com/Library/Home – which always lists new acquisitions on a rotating basis and is updated weekly.

The virtual library is available through the website and your library card at eLibrary – Cramahe Township Public Library
