New Treasurer for Cramahe Township

The Municipality of Cramahe Township announces the appointment of Rubab Nadeem as Treasurer.
“We welcome Rubab to our dynamic team of managers. With this appointment, Cramahe Township council signals a return to the dedicated position of Treasurer for Cramahe Township reflecting the everincreasing complexity and requirement for financial administration in municipal government,” Cramahe Mayor Mandy Martin says.

Rubab is a graduate of a three-year Advanced diploma program of Business Administration – Accounting from St. Lawrence College and also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree through Laurentian University. She is currently enrolled in the Certified Public Accountancy (CPA) program. She has completed the OMTRA municipal property taxation program and also the MFOA municipal finance courses.

“I have been working with municipal government holding different positions within the finance department for the last nine years. My most recent position was Supervisor of Property Taxation and Revenue with the City of Kingston and most recently as Manager of Finance and Support Services (Deputy Treasurer) with the Town of Arnprior. The main areas of focus over the years of my career have been the consolidated financial statements, yearly audits, operating and capital budgets, taxation and revenue management and asset management plans.

“I look forward to championing Cramahe Township when I assume the Treasurer position December 13, 2021.”
