Cobourg Police Looking for Driver of Vehicle That Failed to Remain at Scene of Collision

Cobourg Police are looking for the driver that failed to remain at the scene of a collision on Thursday December 9, 2021.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. emergency services were dispatched to Elgin Street West at the entrance of Canadian Tire for a two vehicle collision.

A vehicle was heading east along Elgin Street when another car pulled out heading east and collided with the other vehicle.

One driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but the other vehicle that was pulling out onto Elgin Street failed to remain.

If anyone has any information they are asked to call Cobourg Police.
