Two Thumbs Up for Small Town Celebrity Dunk Tank at Pet Valu

June is Pet Appreciation Month at Pet Valu stores across Canada.

In Port Hope on Saturday, June 26, 2021, Pet Valu on Peter Street held a Small Town Celebrity Dunk Tank raising funds for the Northumberland Humane Society.

Among the celebs taking part were MPP/Minister David Piccini, Port Hope Mayor Bob Sanderson, Port Hope Police Chief Bryant Wood, along with Cobourg councillors Aaron Burchat and Nicole Beatty.

Company wide funds raised are approximately $700,000.

In Northumberland, over $10,000 were raised for the Northumberland Humane Society.

Manager of Pet Valu in Port Hope Ashlie Tomaz said they were thrilled with the Celebrity Dunk Tank raising $2,700.

Also taking part in the fundraising was Paul Macs Pet Food and Pet Valu from Cobourg
