Quinte West OPP – Break and Enter at Hydro Facility

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break and enter that occurred at a hydro facility in Quinte West.


On March 3, 2021, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Quinte West OPP were dispatched to a complaint of a break and enter at a hydro facility on Power Street in Quinte West. Police learned that sometime bet ween 3:00 p.m. on March 2, 2021 and 7:00 a.m. on March 3, 2021, an unknown suspect (s) broke into the site and stole various power tools, batteries, and some wire valued at approximately $1000. A Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) attended and processed the scene for evidence. The investigation is continuing.
