Port Hope Man Clocked at 130 KPH Driving Through Alderville First Nation

A Port Hope man is charged with Stunt Driving after going through Alderville at a high rate of speed on Sunday, February 7, 2021.

Shortly before 6 p.m. an OPP officer is a trained Technical Traffic Collision Investigator was travelling through Alderville First Nation to a serious atv collision in Trent Hills when he clocked a vehicle doing approximately 130 kph in a 50 kph zone on County Road 45.

The vehicle was pulled over at Crowe’s gas bar and the driver was charged with Stunt Driving.

His license is suspended for seven days and McCracken’s Towing impounded his vehicle for seven days. Under the Stunt Driving legislation, the driver is facing a minimum of a $2,000 fine
