Cobourg Police – Man Arrested for Outstanding Human Trafficking Warrant

On the afternoon of Tuesday, February 2, 2021, uniform officers observed a man in the area of Spring Street in Cobourg currently sought by the Durham Regional Police on an outstanding
warrant for trafficking in persons over 18 years of age, contrary to section 279.01(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

As a result of a police investigation, 48-year-old Kevin Bandy of Cobourg was arrested and taken into custody.

Bandy was later turned over to Durham Regional Police.
