Cobourg Police – Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

On the evening of January 25, 2021, a man attended the Cobourg Police Station to turn himself in to police on outstanding arrest warrants. The man was arrested on the strength of the warrants.
As a result of police investigation, 23-year-old Adam HALLIDAY of Cobourg was arrested and charged with the following offences:

1. Fail to Comply with Appearance Notice – attend for fingerprints contrary to section 145(3) of the
Criminal Code

2. Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to section 355(b) of the Criminal Code

3. Fraud Under $5000 contrary to section 380(1)(b) of the Criminal Code x2

4. Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code

HALLIDAY was held in police custody pending a bail hearing on January 26, 2021.
