Quinte West OPP – Noise Complaint Leads to Mischief Charge

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual after a report of a disturbance.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., January 2, 2021, Quinte West OPP responded to an apartment building on North Murray Street in Trenton due to ongoing complaints of a tenant yelling and cursing.

As a results of the investigation, a 52 year old resident of Quinte West was arrested and charged with mischief.

The accused was released from custo dy on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on January 28, 2021.

The identity of the accused has been withheld due to the nature of the incident.
