Rough Ride for Vehicle Hauling Trailer in Alnwick/Haldimand Township

No injuries were reported after a vehicle hauling a trailer went into the ditch east of Cobourg on Sunday, December 27, 2020.

At approximately 3 p.m. emergency services responded to just west of Brookside Road on County Road 2 in Alnwick/Haldimand Township for a motor vehicle collision.

A SUV was hauling a trailer full of contents when possible the rear tire on the trailer came off.  Both the vehicle and trailer went into the north ditch and up an embankment before stopping.

Some of the contents spilled out during the brief, but rough ride.

No word on charges.
