Cobourg Police – Man Arrested for Possession of Stolen Property

On Friday, December 11, officers were dispatched to the area of Munro Street in Cobourg for a report of a suspicious person.

As a result of police investigation 31-year-old, Michael Kitchen of Cobourg was arrested and charged with the following offences:

1. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Contrary to section 355(b) Criminal Code of Canada

2. Fail to Comply with Release Order: Contrary to Section 145(5)(a) Criminal Code of Canada

3. Fail to Comply with Probation: Contrary to section 733.1(1) Criminal Code of Canada

Kitchen was released with a future court date.
